    Complete the form below to nominate a deserving REALTOR® for one of our 2026 STAR Awards. Award recipients will be honored during our 2nd Annual Starry Night Awards Gala & Installation on January 8, 2027.

    • REALTOR of the Year 
    • The Association’s highest honor.

      Purpose: To recognize a REALTOR® who exemplifies excellence in business, leadership in the profession, service to the association, and impact in the community.

      Eligibility:

      • Active REALTOR® in good standing.
      • Minimum 5 years of REALTOR® membership.
      • No Code of Ethics violations in the past 5 years.

      Judging Criteria (100 points total):

      Service: Association involvement, committee participation, leadership roles (25 pts)
      Tenacity: Continued commitment to excellence and growth in business and service (20 pts)
      Advocacy: Engagement in RPAC, legislative outreach, or industry leadership (15 pts)
      Results: Professional accomplishments, production milestones, innovation (20 pts)
      Community Impact: Civic service or charitable involvement (10 pts)
      Peer & Staff Testimonials: Letters of recommendation or recognition (10 pts)

    • Community Champion Award 
    • Celebrating REALTOR® leadership in service to the community.

      Purpose: To honor a member who has made a significant volunteer impact in 2026 through civic, charitable, or nonprofit work.

      Eligibility:

      • Active REALTOR® in good standing.
      • Volunteer activities must be non-paid and unrelated to real estate transactions.

      Judging Criteria (100 points total):

      Service: Type and extent of volunteer work (30 pts)
      Tenacity: Level of commitment and time invested (25 pts)
      Advocacy: Leadership role in community or nonprofit projects (15 pts)
      Results: Measurable outcomes or impact of their service (20 pts)
      Supporting Evidence: Testimonials from beneficiaries, organizations, or media (10 pts)

    • Association Service Award 
    • Honoring outstanding dedication to STAR.

      Purpose: To recognize a member who demonstrated exceptional commitment to the association through volunteer leadership and service in 2026.

      Eligibility:

      • Active REALTOR® in good standing.
      • Served on at least one committee, task force, or leadership program in 2026.

      Judging Criteria (100 points total):

      Service: Roles played in committees, events, or initiatives (35 pts)
      Tenacity: Willingness to go above and beyond assigned duties (25 pts)
      Advocacy: Promoted STAR’s mission, mentored others, or engaged peers (20 pts)
      Results: Visible contributions to the association’s growth or member experience (20 pts)

    • Commercial Impact Award 
    • Purpose:
      To recognize a commercial real estate transaction, project, or initiative completed during 2026 that has demonstrated a significant positive impact on the Tampa Bay region through economic development, redevelopment, business growth, community enhancement, affordable or workforce housing, or innovative problem-solving.

      Eligibility:

      • At least one principal REALTOR® involved in the transaction or project must be an active STAR REALTOR® member in good standing.
      • The transaction or project must have been completed or substantially completed during the 2026 calendar year. Eligible submissions may include commercial sales, leasing, development, redevelopment, investment transactions, mixed-use projects, land assemblages, adaptive reuse projects, public-private partnerships, affordable or workforce housing initiatives, or other commercial real estate projects.


      Judging Criteria (100 points):

      Service & Community Impact (25 pts): Demonstrated positive impact on economic development, business growth, redevelopment, neighborhood revitalization, job creation, affordable or workforce housing, or other community-enhancing initiatives.

      Tenacity & Innovation (25 pts): Creative problem-solving, perseverance, and innovative approaches used to overcome obstacles and successfully complete the transaction or project.

      Advocacy & Collaboration (20 pts): Demonstrated advocacy for responsible commercial development, property rights, professional standards, or initiatives that advance the commercial real estate industry. Recognition will also be given for successful collaboration among brokers, developers, lenders, government agencies, investors, attorneys, and other stakeholders.

      Results & Execution (30 pts): Successful completion of the transaction or project, measurable outcomes for the client(s) and community, professionalism, ethical conduct, and the overall quality and lasting impact of the work.

    • Broker/Manager of the Year 
    • Recognizing outstanding brokerage leadership.

      Purpose: To honor a broker or manager who supports and inspires their agents through strong leadership, mentorship, and innovation.

      Eligibility:

      • Must be a managing broker, team leader, or office manager of a REALTOR® office.
      • Must be a current REALTOR® in good standing.

      Judging Criteria (100 points total):

      Service: Efforts to train, coach, and develop agents (30 pts)
      Tenacity: Navigating challenges or change in 2026 with integrity (20 pts)
      Advocacy: Promoted REALTOR® engagement, ethics, and professionalism (20 pts)
      Results: Office growth, agent retention, productivity (20 pts)
      Testimonials: From agents or staff describing leadership impact (10 pts)

    • Innovator Award 
    • For creativity, forward-thinking, and industry evolution.

      Purpose: To recognize a REALTOR® who introduced an innovative marketing strategy, tech application, client service solution, or business model.

      Eligibility:

      • Active REALTOR® in good standing.
      • Innovation must have been implemented in 2026.

      Judging Criteria (100 points total):

      Service: How the innovation improved client or colleague experience (20 pts)
      Tenacity: Effort and risk involved in creating or applying the innovation (20 pts)
      Advocacy: Shared innovation with peers, elevated professional standards (15 pts)
      Results: Tangible success (leads, conversions, efficiency, satisfaction) (30 pts)
      Supporting Materials: Demo links, screenshots, or testimonials (15 pts)

    • Lifetime Achievement Award  
    • A REALTOR® legacy of leadership, mentorship, and impact.

      Purpose: To honor a member with decades of commitment to the REALTOR® profession and a lasting impact on the industry.

      Eligibility:

      • Minimum 25 years as a REALTOR®.
      • Not currently serving on the Awards Committee.
      • Strong reputation for ethical practice and leadership.

      Judging Criteria (100 points total):

      Service: Career-long contributions to the association and real estate industry (40 pts)
      Tenacity: Long-term commitment and resilience in evolving markets (20 pts)
      Advocacy: Mentorship, leadership, and championing of REALTOR® values (20 pts)
      Results: Achievements and recognition across career (20 pts)

    • Commercial Achievement Award  
    • Purpose:To recognize a REALTOR® who has demonstrated outstanding performance and leadership in the commercial real estate sector during 2026.

      Eligibility:

      • Must be an active REALTOR® member in good standing.
      • At least 75% of business activity must be in commercial transactions (sales, leasing, development, or investment).

      Judging Criteria (100 points):

      Service (20 pts): Contributions to STAR, local committees, or industry groups related to commercial real estate.
      Tenacity (20 pts): Ability to overcome challenges or lead through complex deals.
      Advocacy (20 pts): Efforts to promote professional standards and mentor peers in commercial practice.
      Results (40 pts): Transaction volume, value, and measurable success in commercial real estate.

    • Global Achievement Award  
    • Purpose: To honor a REALTOR® who has advanced global real estate connections, transactions, or cultural exchange, strengthening STAR’s global presence.

      Eligibility:

      • Must be an active REALTOR® member in good standing.
      • Demonstrated activity in international transactions, partnerships, or leadership in global real estate outreach

      Judging Criteria (100 points):

      Service (20 pts): Involvement with global networking groups, trade missions, or cultural exchange.
      Tenacity (15 pts): Demonstrated effort in overcoming unique challenges in global transactions.
      Advocacy (25 pts): Contributions to STAR’s Global Council, education, or awareness of global real estate issues.
      Results (30 pts): Number and scope of international or cross-border transactions completed in 2025.
      Leadership & Influence (10 pts): Visibility and influence in building STAR’s global brand.

    • Good Neighbor Award 
    • This award recognizes outstanding commitment to a local charity.

      Have you made an extraordinary impact on your community by giving your time and resources, or know a fellow member that has? We want to honor you or that person as a “Good Neighbor.”

      Both REALTOR® and Affiliate Business Partner members are eligible.

      Award: Up to $3,000 grant to member’s organization, pin, certificate, recognition in a special ad in the Tampa Bay Times, and recognition in an issue of the association’s magazine.
